The robotic bucket palletizing cell was developed by ESI Robotics as a tailored solution to address the challenge presented by Colep Packaging, automating a process that involves multiple product types and high operational demands.
The machine was designed to handle a wide range of bucket formats, integrating orientation, stacking and palletizing into a single system. The solution enables the formation of stacks and their placement onto pallets, supporting both conventional and inverted palletizing, ensuring flexibility and consistency throughout the entire process. The system consists of a machine dedicated to the stacking and orientation of buckets, and an industrial robot responsible for picking the stacks and placing them onto pallets. The gripper used by the robot was also developed by ESI Robotics, ensuring full compatibility with the product and the process requirements.
